Church Linking
Prodigal Son looks to ensure that all young people that make a Christian commitment in prison are connected with a church community from their home town.
Churches involved in our Church Linking scheme are asked to write to a young offender whilst he is in prison, encouraging him in his faith and inviting him to meet them after release. Some church links can take this further by coming and visiting the young person before his release.
We currently have over 200 churches on our database but are always looking for more. With the current crisis in prison spaces, young people at Ashfield come from all over the country from as far as London, Birmingham, Oxford, Devon, Cornwall, Cardiff and Swansea.
We need churches from all over England and Wales to offer their support to young Christians in Ashfield prison. We are currently looking for church links in the towns listed at the bottom of this page.
